TOPIC | file.garden & GData - blocked threads
I am using GData Internet security and it usually does not make a fuss about most websites, so I was super surprised to see it actually blocking me from viewing some threads on FR.

Usually I only get a small popup in the corner telling me there is an issue or danger on the site, but additionally to that, now I am told I cannot enter the site itself. While I am also reaching out to someone who knows GData better, I still figured I might as well mention here that something called 'file.garden' is causing me issues seeing, for example, the Boneyard thread from the Main page.

No idea what that is, but it just looks like png's to me from the addresses that are flagged. Still, my internet security labels it as a virus, so I figured I should drop a note on that somewhere.

Thank you for reading! Hope I can fix it on my end ^^'

@tinkadreamchaser
it's flagging the 'filegarden' image hosting site as a malicious website. a lot of people use filegarden to host images for their signature. as far as I'm aware, GData is simply giving a false positive and you can safely whitelist the filegarden domain.

Insect dragon lover. Lover of insects in general. Also fond of insect eating dragons.

I like collecting familiars!

Thanks for the info, I never heard of filgarden before, so I wasn't sure! Good to know it's safe to whitelist :)

@M1mikyu
Okay, good (?) to know there are other firewall programs having this issue. I'll be honest, I'm not seeing this as a 'two strikes' situation, since so many people seem to be using it with no issue ^^'

Just gonna whitelist the site, thank you guys!
