Is anything likely to be done to make the accidental-incest infertile offspring fertile, or are they all going to stay mules?

I've been trying to breed
9156188 and 489438 for days now. They are not related, off cooldown, and are not showing up in my nesting grounds drop box. Several other dragons are missing too

You don't have a bug. Your dragons that aren't showing up are too hungry to breed. Feed them and they'll be able to breed just fine.

Well this is embarrassing... I have been trying to breed two dragons, who I believed were completely unrelated, only to find out that

The dragon #14836577 is unable to breed with all the females in my lair (including gen ones). His parents #1157689 and #1541023 share a common ancestor within five generations (Kyriel).
Is there any update on this bug? It's been almost a year since this thread was created, so it would be nice to know if the admins are even working on solving this.
