I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned or not, but the Seraph gene on Fae dragons seems to have an error? You can see the Seraph pattern on the frill clear as day on hatchlings, but it's unusually absent on the adults, as demonstrated by two of my dragons. Hatchling with Seraph: Adult male and female Fae with Seraph:

If you check this out with Underbelly, you'll see it extends there on most other breeds, but not on PCs. Lionfish utilizes this belly portion for the accent color and if there's none, it's just not there.

hello!! i dont remember making a post but boy are we in this now

I'd take this as something intentional were it not for how jarringly straight the line goes. And were it not for the fact that in the second image provided, the limb appears transparent with the Eye Spots faded and running through it. The underside being lighter as you (Medena) say makes sense, but how this appears does not

The line does continue into the body in an unnatural way down from the wing to the arm of the dragon like you (SickViking) noted- there's something strange afoot with how the wing genes interact on the SD H bases

However they seem to have been picked from the last few pages of this thread, so I'm gonna post here a list of all the gene errors I've seen so far on this thread in the hope that it's useful to the devs to have them all in a single post!
Genes that go outside the lines: - Underbelly on F bogs - Ghost on M ridges (front leg) - Smirch on F nocs (wings, head) - Cherub on M nocs (neck) - All secondaries on M coatls bleed onto the tail (butt wings) - Piebald on baby imps has stray pixels - Weathered bleeding on the wing pawpad of F gaolers - Bar and tiger in M wildclaws bleed onto the belly on the tail - Phantom on F gaolers clips onto the wing claw (dark of the tail) Missing portions/colors: - Ultramarine seraph on all breeds - Okapi on baby guardians's back leg - Lionfish on baby imps (back leg missing stripes) - Nails on several breeds with jaguar - Nails on several breeds with lionfish - The uncolored bit on mist seraph of M ridges - Vermillion shimmer on F coatls has the wrong gradient - Current on M ridges (back wing) - Wrong colors in skydancers gems/antennaes with lionfish - Python on F PCs (missing accent color) - The eye-ridge of F tundras - Uncolored squares on F bogs W/lace (base of the wing) - Noxtide on F skydancers fluff (white patches) - Front feet on M spirals with laced - Capsule missing on baby tundra's belly - Unusual lightning eyes on baby mirrors show as water unusual - Tapir on M gaolers has an extra gradient on the left front foot - Toxin spearmint has wrong accent colors on BScales - Noxtide is missing the pattern on M coatls buttwing Missing/misplaced shading/trasparency: - Iri/shim on the new colors - Noxtide on M nocs's frills - Noxtide on M PCs doesn't have shadow trasparency - Ringlets on all breeds, except F banescale - The missing plate on iridescent M ridges - Met/Alloy's highlights on fem nocs - Laced on baby skydancers bolder shading - Filigree on baby PCs is missing some lines on the side - Filigree on M snappers is missing some lines on the chin - Ice glimmer on F ridgebacks has the wrong shading color - The highlight for capsule on M faes follows the old lineart Other: - Spines not following the spine of the dragon on some breeds - Seraph on M PCs (weird white line) - Capsule on M snappers (shoulder) - Capsule on M spirals

Thank you for your organizational efforts. I'll be going through the thread myself, as being able to see the images directly can point me to what's wrong and whether or not it's an error or supposed to be like that. But I'll be sure to take a gander at this list a second time after I think I'm a bit closer to "wrapping things up" and see if there's something that I completely missed! ----------------------
Since the issues began gaining attention, I want to repeat a thing that'd been bothering me for years, that being the old issue with new IriShim lighting layer. It's been noted as something to be fixed back when the color wheel received its update. It's especially noticeable on Pearlcatchers for some reason, not as bad on most other breeds. We are not going to be making a decision on iridescent and shimmer until all the other genes are addressed. They're a big commitment to change, and have been on the site for quite a while. Each one (as I keep repeating like an annoying broken record - sorry about that!) is colored by hand and not by a generator, so inconsistencies will be present. The first 67 colors released on site were colored at a different time than the color wheel expansion, which may explain some of the differences. The first 67 colors generally have non-colored line art, wildly different hue shifts from dragon to dragon for the same color, and their highlights are a bit mushy. Many of the color expansion colors are more consistent from dragon to dragon for the same color, but have highlights that are too harsh, and some are pure white, which is not how iridescent should probably look. Note that we are working on an iridescent update for fae on colors 1-67 (the original pre-expansion colors), as they had black line art and pelvic bumps that are not consistent with the rest of fae art on site. So they have a true error, whereas the rest we are currently tagging as inconsistencies that we'll need to think about before basically redoing the entire gene. Apologies for the long-winded explanation! Thankfully we do not hand color genes anymore aside from this one, so errors can be more clearly recognized as such and things should (hopefully) be pretty standard! ------------------------------
It’s been years since the genes petals and butterfly came out but there is still an error with butterfly on male imps with the lines going over the tail. Thank you for the report. These should now be corrected. Note that this does affect all colors, as it ensures that the tundra and skydancers have a standard mane color rather than the darkest outline of the butterfly gene, which was inconsistently used in the mane area.

First: I'm glad some of the older bleeding issues and other more recent art errors were fixed!
However they seem to have been picked from the last few pages of this thread, so I'm gonna post here a list of all the gene errors I've seen so far on this thread in the hope that it's useful to the devs to have them all in a single post!
Quote:
Genes that go outside the lines:
- Underbelly on F bogs
- Ghost on M ridges (front leg)
- Smirch on F nocs (wings, head)
- Cherub on M nocs (neck)
- All secondaries on M coatls bleed onto the tail (butt wings)
- Piebald on baby imps has stray pixels
- Weathered bleeding on the wing pawpad of F gaolers
- Bar and tiger in M wildclaws bleed onto the belly on the tail
- Phantom on F gaolers clips onto the wing claw (dark of the tail)

Missing portions/colors:
- Ultramarine seraph on all breeds
- Okapi on baby guardians's back leg
- Lionfish on baby imps (back leg missing stripes)
- Nails on several breeds with jaguar
- Nails on several breeds with lionfish
- The uncolored bit on mist seraph of M ridges
- Vermillion shimmer on F coatls has the wrong gradient
- Current on M ridges (back wing)
- Wrong colors in skydancers gems/antennaes with lionfish
- Python on F PCs (missing accent color)
- The eye-ridge of F tundras
- Uncolored squares on F bogs W/lace (base of the wing)
- Noxtide on F skydancers fluff (white patches)
- Front feet on M spirals with laced
- Capsule missing on baby tundra's belly
- Unusual lightning eyes on baby mirrors show as water unusual
- Tapir on M gaolers has an extra gradient on the left front foot
- Toxin spearmint has wrong accent colors on BScales
- Noxtide is missing the pattern on M coatls buttwing

Missing/misplaced shading/trasparency:
- Iri/shim on the new colors
- Noxtide on M nocs's frills
- Noxtide on M PCs doesn't have shadow trasparency
- Ringlets on all breeds, except F banescale
- The missing plate on iridescent M ridges
- Met/Alloy's highlights on fem nocs
- Laced on baby skydancers bolder shading
- Filigree on baby PCs is missing some lines on the side
- Filigree on M snappers is missing some lines on the chin
- Ice glimmer on F ridgebacks has the wrong shading color
- The highlight for capsule on M faes follows the old lineart

Other:
- Spines not following the spine of the dragon on some breeds
- Seraph on M PCs (weird white line)
- Capsule on M snappers (shoulder)
- Capsule on M spirals

Thank you for your organizational efforts. I'll be going through the thread myself, as being able to see the images directly can point me to what's wrong and whether or not it's an error or supposed to be like that. But I'll be sure to take a gander at this list a second time after I think I'm a bit closer to "wrapping things up" and see if there's something that I completely missed!

Azure:

The lighting layer seem to be significantly less transparent on the new colors. Notably it's not as bad on other breeds. Fuchsia on F Imperials:

Thank you for the report.

It’s been years since the genes petals and butterfly came out but there is still an error with butterfly on male imps with the lines going over the tail. Will this ever be addressed?

Is f guardian back wing supposed to look plain? I have a feeling that lineart and/or shadows are missing

Edit: m guardian with same genes/colors, back wing looks fine

The guardian female has her back wing in complete shadow on our templates across the site; however, because the guardian male got some additional shadows added in there for alloy, I think it's warranted to add a few for her just for this gene, since this gene naturally adds a bit of extra shadow. The changes are in, but may take up to a day to appear as our site's internal cache catches up.

In all colors (as far as I can tell) of the Male Gaoler Tapir gene the front left foot has shading on the toes that none of the other viewable feet show.

As Im not sure which is the correct version of the foot Ill let the team decide which is the bug (though I think its the one with shading but idk).

Just figured I would point it out!

Thank you for the report. This should now be corrected!

Thank you for all of these fixes! It’s wonderful to see old gene errors get patched up! c: I’m a little sad to see the dark mane on SDs and Tundras with Butterfly go (I thought it was intentional), but everything else is great.

A (hopefully) quick question:

Is it possible to just tweak the highlight layers on new-colour Iridescent/Shimmer in the automated system? The colours themselves don’t need any fixing, but the highlight layer seems to be set at 100% opacity, which destroys the lineart in places. I’m not sure how the automated gene colouring system works, so I don’t know if a shading/highlight opacity change would have to be done by hand or not (I definitely understand not wanting to go back and manually edit hundreds of pieces of art, haha).
