Beyond the way the Shade's corruption weeps from his scales, his body has always just felt a touch too fragile. Like a mannequin on display, Koera is weak for a Construct, and all he serves to be is just the same as his father -- a pretty, but ultimately useless pet. Being forced to bow his head to his draconic masters grated on him, but what else could he do? Without power, he is helpless. In this helplessness, Koera stews in anger. His father, more Shade-slag than person, does not have the strength of self to even mind the lesser treatment, but Koera is half-dragon. He cannot discard the part of him that's alive, that demands equal treatment as all others, and the draconic desire to not just be equal, but better. When he is discarded by his masters for becoming old and ugly, not a cute pet at all, Koera swallows his dejection and takes it as an opportunity to finally leave this horrid place and stretch his wings. His wide, doe-like eyes and soft feathers enchanted his masters when he was hatched, and they treated him like a beloved animal. Never the same as them, of course, Kinea is half-Construct and therefore not truly a dragon, but Kinea found he never minded the disparity in treatment. He is able to lounge to his heart's content, never worrying for anything except petty matters, all of his needs tended to by loving masters. All they ever asked of him was his affection, his loyalty, and his obedience. It seemed like Kinea would never leave this blissful place, where they are worshipped and loved, but he never accounted for the fact that not being on equal standing with his masters meant he is still merely a token to them. He had no choice when his masters took him away from his childhood home, his father, and sent him across the world to a new home to serve new dragons, with different ideas for how Kinea should act and be treated. He retains a single son, born with special eyes not unlike his own, and sends the rest into the world. The below clutch is Generation 3 Shade Constructs, from Sigrunn's line. They all come with individual lore starters, which can be kept, deleted, or expanded upon depending on the new owner's plans for them. They are all 30g on the AH.
