@Bitmap Hello! In the future, please make sure to do a quick check over the specifics pings to check that they are an appropriate length, especially if you encounter connection issues. We updated the front tab of the sheet with a notice to this effect on Saturday, including some pointers on what to do if a connection issue occurs and what indicators to look for to make sure that the list is correct. This results in the formulas used to correctly exclude users not being given the chance to complete, which results in mispings. It looks like the only field that was incorrectly generated was the dates - what can I do to check that in the future? Admittedly, the many usernames for one date on the antique/banana should've perhaps been an indicator that something went wrong, but I couldn't have done much about the larger batch to verify that dates were pinged for correctly.

I've been following the list generation process presumably correctly for the past few months (e.g. waiting until the sheet is marked as saved, waiting for a couple of minutes after any loading indicators have stopped, waiting 5+ minutes to reconnect after a disconnect). I don't mind admitting some user error in this case, but I still would have appreciated a PM or something similar.

@bitmap The reason that we respond in the affected thread rather than via pms is so that those who have been miss-pinged can see the response and understand that there has been an issue. We do this for both user and sheet caused errors and have done so since the sheet first launched.

In terms of things that can be done in the future, the notice on the front tab of the sheet includes a few guideline numbers for how many names can be expected under the colours and dates specific lists for a few different circumstances. We are now asking that users perform a quick sense check against these, particularly if they have experienced connection issues whilst generating the list. If there appears to still be an issue after following the next steps then users are welcome to reach out to myself and/or Lili and we'd be more than happy to help and double check the back end.
