Dragons For Sale

Hey everyone! Up until now I've been running dragon of the month nominations at the start of each elemental holiday, but lately I've noticed some waning interest in it - It's quite a bit of work for me to run it for something that involves no actual reward for you guys, so I'm thinking I might change up the system a bit, just to simplify it.

Let me know if this sounds okay to you. I can use a random number generator to select a user each month (I'll be very careful about people not being chosen more than once) and then allow them to choose a dragon of their own to have displayed on the front page as dragon of the month. You can also surprise another user by choosing one of their dragons, if you're feeling friendly. c:
If the person I choose doesn't get back to me I'll just choose a dragon for them. And if they're inactive (by that I mean if their dragons are all unfed) then I'll pick a different member.

Let me know what your thoughts are! I'm absolutely open to ideas.

On top of that, I'd also love to hear what you guys would like to see from this hub. I quite like running it as a fairly low maintenance thread, but if anyone has any ideas for events or competition, let me know! Fyi, I definitely said that I was going to run a fashion competition over the past month, but I absolutely forgot, so I'll do that this coming week. I'm thinking I might go for a treasure prize which would be right out of my own pocket, but if anyone has any other prize ideas, let's hear it!

@Eskarine Ooooh, I love it, cosplay dragons could be a great idea! It could be quite challenging, given FR's limited wardrobe, and also since it'd have to stick to the black and white theme. Hmm... Or maybe a royalty theme? (Maybe both?) Royalty, or just formal wear would tie in really nicely with the chess thing we have going on here, and it's definitely doable with FR's apparel.
Either way, I think I'll keep it unthemed this time around, and reserve the fancier ideas for further down the line, just to keep it simple for now. c:
