There was a time when he was afraid of what was happening to him, where he feared the pain. Now he welcomes it. Loves every twist and snap of his bones as the ice slowly shifts him around in its unforgiving cold grip. It makes him feel, not alive really. He hasn’t been alive in a long time, but it makes him feel something. A haunting echo snaps him from his wandering thoughts. It’s different enough from the ethereal cracking and hissing sounds to make him curious. He tries to take a deep breath, the movement pointless and impossible but the impulse still lingers deep in his bones. Closing his eyes instead, he focuses on the sound. Beneath his focus, he lets his mind wander, searching for the source of the sound. It doesn’t take long before he can feel them. He keeps speaking to it, words falling softly as a whisper of their own mind as he draws them closer. And closer. Without a partner…a host, his power is meaningless, however, so he keeps whispering to it. Ever so sly with his words until they coil themselves around its brain like an oily snake. Then he pulls, drawing his victim in with those unblinking glowing eyes until they fall. Don’t stare into the abyss, it’ll pull you in. hello! i wanted to ask a question prior to ordering: my character does have a reference, however said reference is missing a few details (e.g. physical features/additions, clothing) that i may need to describe in text. is this okay?

@Malbyte I'm fine with a few missing details, like scars, marks, tattoos and such! I can fill those in with a text description. I also always send a sketch for approval before I finish the piece as well, so if something is off it can be corrected [emoji=aberration tongue size=2]

Character Ref / Dragon Link: Two references - first is picrew, second is a chibi drawing
Any other info: The chibi is the most update to date design (i.e. the side fins are much larger than in the picrew and no dorsal fin) + colours should be picked from the chibi
There's a few missing/unclear details:
- He has an anglerfish antenna, a bit similar to the flight rising apparel version
- They have gills on the sides of their neck, its barely visible in the second ref
- The grey is a line/pattern of grey scales on their face, it's mirrored on the other side; eyes are also grey, a bit lighter than the scales
- Would like them to be wearing a brown woolen sweater if possible

They're a kobold/dragonborn/locathah little guy - personality wise he's generally cheery and a little goofy, so any pose where he's smiling would be good

please lmk if this is doable/if you need any clarifications! i'm sorry I don't have a clearer design ^^'

Oh, she definitely has swamp witch vibes, I can work with that :D

The spiral gives me the vibes of magic gone wrong, some kind of twisted arcane magic that disfigured his skin and left him with pulsating veins of corruption on himself etc. Does something like that work? The UMA makes it seem like he's blind, maybe he can only see by sensing the aura of things now.
