thank you!! he looks cute :) you've drawn a good chunk of characters - what sort of things inspire you to pick the character? is it the icon, the name, the blurb (if you read them)? i don't mind at all, but i am def curious about how people navigate my site (pretend there is an eyes emoji here)

thank you!! i think the shading looks nice, especially the multiple shades in the pink. personally i just... scribble my shinies on hahaha but ymmv. no flat version needed, i like this one!

well, a lot of your characters are just captivating! generally it's the icons I see of them and sometimes the blurbs of text about them aswell, but I like choosing characters to draw based on how well I think I can capture your design. sometimes it's also experimental, to try new kinds of character designs or things I struggle with. the great thing about your characters are that the designs are consistent and though a lot of them look very similar, each still has their own personality and sorta "vibe" to them through how you physically portray each character. a lot can be told by colors, facial expressions and clothes, even if the designs are all very similar.
for example, here's meyp! I think I managed to capture their personality well within the colors and expression I used to compliment their base colors.

oh! what makes me click on a gallery to view a character's full design is still the art icon theyre given and sometimes the text blurb gets me more interested. a lot of your characters are just very interesting, though! ^^
