Hello! I am Dew. I'm a hobby artist that hopes to increase my skills and incorporate art into my freelancing. I've primarily done traditional art for years, only switching to a tablet to do lineart and color, but now I am mostly all digital.

Since goods and services cost legal tender, and I have a lot of projects here on Flight Rising I hope to complete in my lifetime, I have decided to open up this art shop to hone my skills, try new things, and make a bit of dragon cash or actual cash on the side.

Terms of Service

My full TOS can be found on my PayPal invoices and the Google Form where I take orders. I will be happy to provide the entire TOS for anyone that asks at any time. If you wish to view the below in a larger text, I will be happy to message it to you upon request.

I reserve the right to my art even after submitting it to the commissioner, my signature is not to be removed for any reason. I reserve the right to deny, reject, or ignore any requests. I reserve the right to cancel any commission at any time for any reason and a refund will be provided as long as not too much work has gone into the piece already. Once a sketch has been approved by the client, a refund is no longer possible, even if the client cancels the commission.

I am not responsible for any lost art files and may not keep former commissions around to preserve space on my own devices. Please save your image to your computer or device.

I am more than willing to work with and talk to clients about problems that occur during their commission. Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns.

I am open to haggling on USD prices. Gem/treasure prices will remain the same and can only be offset through the bribery of retired items. USD payments are primarily done through PayPal (I will send an invoice), but I can accept payments through Ko-fi if we have discussed it before I have accepted the commission. FR currency payments are to be paid through PM unless we have discussed Crossroad payments. [b]Gem:Treasure[/b] ratio is [b]1:1,000[/b]. [b]USD:Gems ratio[/b] is [b]1:10[/b]. There is an example in the next post. The price range depends on complexity, size, and requests involving the map. Please message me for more information! [b][u]Additional Fee[/u][/b] [LIST] [*]Extra Characters*: + 40% [*]Simple Backgrounds**: Varies [*]Character Design***: Varies [/LIST] *Extra Characters refers to a separate character entirely, not a character with two or more heads. This extra fee stays the same no matter the type of art ordered. **Simple Backgrounds refers to any background that is not overly complicated. "Sitting in a chair in a cafe", "at the zoo", or "walking down a city street" can be considered simple as I will simplify the location. Complicated backgrounds would be "standing on a battlefield while attacking 7 enemies surrounding them with rain pouring down and thunder and lightning above them". I will always do my best on backgrounds, but please be aware that out of all the things I have practiced, backgrounds is not one of them... yet! The extra fee goes towards me learning how to do what you want to make your piece as good as I can. ***Character Design refers to designing a character from nothing but a mood-board or a text description, with the expectation to provide a turn-around or reference sheet for future artists (color selection, etc.). These expectations means I will be focused on providing the best character reference sheet I can, which means you will have to approve sketches at multiple stages.[u][/u]

I have stopped under pricing myself so much on both FR currency and USD. Will it harm business? Maybe. But also, the more you pay someone the more effort they will put into their craft! I know that's true for me, at least.
