For those who venture a bit to far,
Into where the trees run deep,
Where even lights like stars,
Will not shine, where things creep-
Beware the melody,
Beware the shadows by the tree
For you are in her territory,
Pray she has mercy.
If you hear her muse,
Turn the other way,
Do not let it guide you,
Hope it's not today,
Of our kind she had murder few-
But others she shall always slay,
And even If it be few,
All it takes is a bit of pay-
Turn, turn the other way.
And for those her seek her arts,
She has no time for conversation,
For she is cold of heart,
And once forsaken,
She has hate that runs through her bones
And from beasts she takes all they own-
But put some coins where you sleep,
You might make it free-
And pray, pray she has mercy,
Beware the forest that she creeps.
