How about long like that pic you posted, but part of it's red? :P The red is important for him, he's trying to be secretive so it makes his eyes stand out less
If that's still not good then all black is fine :P

Ah, you can do whatever you want with that. I just meant that he's a little... crazy, but in the story he does get better so if you'd rather not do that it's fine XD
