Much to the despair of the clan's healer VOR often doesn't feel it necessary to go get his battle wounds checked out which at best just causes him to have scars but at worst has caused him to become very sick (and, much to VOR's horror, meant that he was unable to fight to defend the clan until he was well again). He's abrasive but he grows on others over time.
