Because of this he has become a bit of a thief, sneaking into nests and stealing small bits of treasures or even being so bold as to take the pearls of other dragons. Actually he keeps a small horde of stolen pearls in an alcove he has dug out of Azorth's main lair. Because of his bad habit Hale tends to be quite shy around other dragons, preferring to slink away to his den and be with his pearls.
