I do remember seeing early last year that there was a new modern breed in the works that was almost done, and I admit that at the start of this event I did wonder if the end of this event was going to be the result of a new ancient breed or the modern breed that I saw was in the works. I am thrilled to see that it is the new modern breed, and I am happy to say that it is a very lovely design.

All the effort put into making their debut unique and engaging made it even more special.

I have a new favorite breed! I have always liked the traditional lion/dragon appearance of the Chinese Lilong (sometimes spelled Li-lung) and the obelisk design is the spitting image of it. It also fits my lair name of 'Arcane Jungles'. especially with big cat markings.
I "hatched" my statue and got a gorgeous crimson/forest/gold Christmas dragon, so I had to name her Holly.

Eventually I hope to get a male gened up to look like this...
