My opinion? I love the apparel and familiar, and a lot of the skins are really stunning. I'm not a huge fan of the banner but I can see people putting it to good use!!
As for the other skins..... I really don't know how the devs pick skins for contests. It makes no sense imo. There were so many stunning and detailed skins, and yet- with no disrespect to the creator of course!- they picked skins like that marbled Fae or prismatic Spiral. It's just.... underwhelming. Again, this is only my opinion, I'm not here to attack anyone, but when you look back through all the skins that got posted, I can easily give you 3 off the top of my head that would be immensely more welcomed by players.

You'd think that we'd get more Imperial or Pearlcatcher skins for the light fest, give that they're the Light breeds. And I was really hoping for that too! There were so many amazing Imp skins- and tons of other breed skins!- that I'm really sad didn't get picked. Honorable mentions are awesome, but it just ain't the same when you've been rootin' for some people and their awesome skins yanno? QvQ oof
But hey, we got what we got, so we might as well enjoy it [emoji=familiar heart size=1]
