@Easterndragon to add a background, you need to have a vista! They are available in the Marketplace or Auction House under "specialty" and there's one in the Festive Favors shop every festival!
Once you have a vista, go to your Hoard, and into the "specialty" tab. Click the vista and apply it to your account.
Then, go to the top right where you have all your account information and click the down arrow to go to your account settings. You can select a forum vista from there ^^
