But what exactly will you get by buying the adoptable? Basically you'll choose the colors and genes for the Guardian in the base, and afterwards you can use the created piece of art in your dragon's bio. You can also edit the image slightly (crop it, shrink it etc.) but you are NOT allowed to claim it was created by you, of course. So keep my username in the image! I would also appreciate if you saved your adoptable into your own image sharing site account, as I can't quarantee to be keeping my copy of the image available forever.

How to order an adoption, then? By filling out this form and posting it in this thread:
1. Dragon: (Link to the desired dragon's page or image. This dragon will obviously become the one marked with number one in the picture below.)
2. Inner background color: (The color you want to be used in the area marked with number two. You can either use this sort of tool: www.colorpicker.com to give me a hex code of the color or say something vague like "light blue", but if you choose the latter option, you can't really complain if you don't like my interpretation of the said color.)
3. Outer background color: (Same deal as previously, but to the area marked with number three.)
After you've posted your order, I'll accept or deny it. (Denying will happen only if something is missing or not done properly, or if I have a reason for not being able to draw right now.) After the acceptance you send me the payment, and I will start working with your order. When the picture is ready, I will send it to you in a PM.

Q: Is there any other breed available besides Guardians?
A: Actually yes, there is. BUT! Making genes for them all would be way too much work for me, so they can be ordered ONLY with genes like Basic, Underbelly, Stained and simplified Iridescend, Shimmer and Glimmer (meaning they have only the gradient and no other effects). If your dragon has other genes they can be "reduced" to Basic in this. Breeds currently available (besides Guardians) are:

Q: Do the adoptions contain apparel or skins/accents?
A: No, they do not.
Q: Can you do some small modifications to the base or coloration, like painting the nails pink or adding some scars?
A: Well, the more minor they are, the better are the chances of getting me to do them. Depends a bit on my mood and the amount of other work I have in my hands. It never hurts to ask, though!
Q: My Guardian has one of the genes that aren't available. Can I somehow get that gene done?
A:
New genes aren't currently available - sorry about that.
Q: Can I pay with Gems?
A: Yes, you can. But before that I have to always check the current Gem/Treasure ratio and discuss the price with you.
Q: Can I pay with items?
A: Possibly. If you offer an item I have on my wishlist, we might come to an agreement.
Q: Can I pay with something else?
A: You can always ask! Real money isn't usually an option though, as I don't have a Paypal account. (Finnish people can ask about bank transfer.) I usually do accept art as a payment.
Q: I would rather pay only when I have already received my order.
A: Yeah, I can understand that. My policy with this is quite strict though, so unless I know you from somewhere, I won't likely make exceptions.
Q: I left you a message several days ago but you haven't answered. What should I do?
A: Contact me again! Either ping me here or send me a PM. Sometimes the alert system just skips stuff or an alert might get buried under other things. I never ignore anyone on purpose! (Btw no need to ping me normally while posting to this thread, as I am subscribed to it.)
Q: The shop's title says it's open, but there haven't been any activity in a long while. Can I post in this thread anyway?
A: Absolutely yes! If the title says open, the shop is open. I just don't like advertising the shop too much, and that's why I don't for example bump it back to the front page.
