"I like to help people, just to see the happiness on their faces. Why would one need more reason than that?"
Idaria often cares for her mute brother, Athori, having been born a gentle soul. She constantly searches for a way for Athori to speak, despite her parents having given up. In her spare time, she helps Mitori with healer and her Councillor duties. Stardust is proud of her only daughter, predicting that Idaria will become a Councillor herself one day. She attended Mirrorlight Academy for a year when she was 10, in the hopes of promoting peace among the Flights of Sornieth. While there, she learned much about other Flights and when she came back, gave a lecture on those other Flights to the hatchlings of the Anaey Clan. Idaria is married to the Historian Eryn, after they fell in love during Night of the Nocturne. She was looking for a way for Athori to speak, outside of telepathy and writing, when she met Eryn officially. They had met before, of course, in passing, but Eryn was very solitary. She tried to draw him out, encouraging him to eat in the main dining hall instead of inside the kitchen, showing him around the healers cave, and other activities. Mitori predicted that the two would fall in love- they were perfect for each other!- but Idaria just brushed her comments off. It was during the great gift exchange on Christmas Day when Eryn asked her out, giving her a special spell that he had crafted. The spell caused enchanted violet petals to constantly fall around her, a precious gift. She gave him a hand-crafted tome of all the Anaey Clan knowledge, which he loved. They shared their first kiss about a week afterwards, before getting married on the first day of the new year. Recently, Idaria has begun dabbling in what some dragons might consider a brand of witchcraft. Walking the Astral Plane, communicating with Spirits, brewing potions, complicated Spells, that sort of thing. She gets most of her ingredients from the thriving black market in the Cavernas Altorum, with one of her most common purchases being rare ingredients from the Ghostlight Ruins. Possibly her most notable purchase was Tears of a Shadow Sprite, a dark, sticky liquid form of shadows that Shadow Sprites and Lady Shadowbinder herself give off. She has mastered quite a few spells in Ancient Draconic instead of the Standard Draconic, and commonly practices them. Eryn isn't so much in the magical side, preferring to brew potions.
