Biography

Vis is one of two dragons in charge of defending gravesites from graverobbers, scavengers, and so on, be they Beastclans or other dragons. He is blind in all of his eyes, but his keen sense of smell and unrivaled hearing more than compensate for this. Vis is also infamous (both inside and outside the Guard) for his brutal instinct and extremely violent tendencies; his merciless beatings of those who’ve desecrated the Boneyard in the past have resulted in all but the absolute bravest and most confident of thieves to go near the site. The most agreed-upon theory is that his savagery is the result of past trauma, with Vis having been born blind, frail, neglected, and unable to defend himself against enemies, this theory being fueled by Vis's apparent self-loathing issues despite his strength. Vis himself has never confirmed this to the public, however; Ave, his mate, is the only one who knows the details of this. Likely also because of his alleged trauma, he still possesses a sense of judgment and honor despite his violence; rather than attack immediately, Vis will give “warning shots” to robbers and creatures looking for food, giving them time to react and leave (if they refuse or do not vacate the graveyard fast enough, however, he will relentlessly strike). Likewise, he is capable of following orders and respecting authority, making him a valued member of the Guard.
