Solstraale has a silver twin, Maanestraale [Ice/White/Maize] who was sent directly upon hatching to dwell with a neighbouring lair, because Mote was running out of room and patience. The brothers still get to play with one another almost every day, and maintain a strong bond. They can be seen rolling, wrestling and racing up and down the gentle lawns of the Sundial Terrace like an energised knot of silver and gold tumbleweed.

[Solstraale and Maanestraale are Danish for Sunbeam and Moonbeam.]
