One of the two leaders of Sideris-on-Riverbank and the primary individual who enforced Sideris' move to join his original band of Wildclaws, Sucellus was born to a small family underneath the Behemoth. He lived comfortably, studying a range of disciplines and expanding his circles until he was a young entrepreneur with many influential contacts in the upper crust. He left his family with a childhood friend, his new mate Arduinna, in order to establish their own community and economic venture in the Gladeveins.

Now as the patriarch of an blossoming clan, he remains serious and strict in his control. He is not a brutal leader, by any means, but he has a firm hand in delivering punishment and judgment to whoever is brought up in a case of grievances. Thus, many dragons prefer to settle their disputes via a traditional duel or negotiation rather than go to him for mediation. He can loosen up during peaceful periods in the clan, but overall it is Arduinna who the clan goes to for positive support.

Sucellus also serves as the primary representative of the clan in diplomatic affairs, so he is sometimes gone for visits to other clans and events within Sornieth. He values the maintenance of his connections, more for the clan's benefit than personal friendship with them. He can come across as materialistic and greedy due to this, as well as his detailed management of the clan's finances and registry, but ultimately he keeps them in line and is able to pull them out of trouble when necessary.
