Shamsiel

Shamsiel, he/it. He has an old name, but nobody uses it. The founder of the clan, and self-appointed royalty. He likes gaslighting and making bad decisions, and his moral code is flimsy at best. Collects misfit dragons like gold, and molds them into something like a family — with him at the head, naturally. He's undeniably power-hungry, but he's also very smart and prioritizes the good of the clan, so nobody really minds.

Nobody's sure why he founded the clan, or what he's looking for. Clearly, though, he hasn't found it.
He'll do anything and everything to protect this family, even if he risks destroying it from the inside. Manipulation is one hell of a way to keep a family together, but somehow, he's managing.
Shamsiel claims this is what he was made for — that this is his chance to atone. For what, though, he won't say.
