One of if not the oldest of the clan Matrix is less then sociable and fits perfectly into the role of a grouchy old man. Preferring to keep to himself the Imperial has found it entertaining to scribe the findings of his clan and record those they have lost. Preferring books to the company of other dragons Matrix has also taken up the role of a librarian, though most of the scrolls in his possession are his personal property. Some notes he has are: The Feisty Fae flock: Tiki, Cloak, and Snowcloak. Along with Cherry the flock came and nested before flying off without her. The group of Fae's were some of the first dragons to discover the lair and played a vital role in setting up the camp and forming the starting larder. Cherry's daughter Leyla, and her close friend Juniper both left with the flock, leaving Cherry alone as the last of her group. The Matriarch's lost: SeaDust the brave, lost protecting his brother. Skrelp the innocent, kidnapped by raiders and never seen again. They are the only dragons Volt [And I] have ever mourned for. Truly my biggest regret in this game. The Shadows: Frostchip the high energy. The slow paced lair could not handle his boundless energy. Spill The ignored, bred and bred again never did she find love or purpose in her clan. She left for the Arcane fields and finally found peace serving the Arcanist. Piv's handsome looks made him a catch with the ladies but Volt chased him out after stirring up trouble. Yoona was readily accepted for her pretty colors but, after finding little purpose for herself in the clan, flew away the same night a storm hit. It is uncertain whether or not she made it. Zeruel was named after an old friend of the Matriarch.. and after her departure Volt vows to name a new hatchling after her. Ricochet the misplaced. A simple but pretty Windclaw, Ricochet felt ill-fitted for the lair that contained no other dragons of her breed. Though she enjoyed her time here she ultimately left to quell the dissonance inside her. Nymeria lived her near all her life. She ate, fought, searched, and lived as anyone would, but never said much. She kept to herself, blending into the shadows, and when she finally vanished her lurking presence was missed. The Lovers: Hachi and his lover Hailey gave the clan much wealth in their time here, but left together to be with their children and deity. Ashes and Soot did much of the same, though their departure was fueled by repetitive dreams of the Stormchaser. Hibiscus the misplaced beauty and Nelumbo the doting reject. Embrace was taken by a golden noodle born right in this vary lair. They had a couple children before the Pearlcatcher realized, or thought, she was worth more than him and sought richer pastures. Noisur Spread classy genes around for desirable hatchlings, but their colors left much to be desired. Matrix had more notes but it seems some hatchlings wretched them. How bothersome. - Gift from a friend on my first day of play along with Nausicaa and Kelp. - While he is a counsel member and part of the clan core, Matrix purposefully distances himself from those responsibilities. He is here for his books, for the records that he keeps, and the choices that his fellows make. |
