Biography
Noted events in his history since the 4th Era. His daughter Demeter was lost in the drafts to the battle of Light vs Plague, one the most ferocious in history. He is not able to indulge himself much in a garden and grows plants in his living quarters now. An active member of the Council of Solace, he provides importing and exporting supply information. The 4th Era years of loss wore on him. Garu lost a lot of his teasing nature and while still boisterous, grew into someone very protective of those around him. He likes to joke about being related Artemin because of it.
A tired himbo dad. Most likely will become your new uncle. A Huncle, if you will.

History
Elpidios perfectly described Gaurumik in one word. Risqué. After explaining what it meant the title just kind of stuck. Some dragons wonder if some of the stories he brings are true. Other times the saucy tales often make the flushing doubters slink away much to Gaurumick's amusement.
For an Imperial, he has a lot of Pearlcatcher friends.
When he's not telling stories he often leaves the Sunbeam Ruins to trade, gather and sometimes scavenge for items not in the domain of light. It's along the way with among other travelers he listens in on the juicy anecdotes. Gauru has the job of transporter because of an Imperial's natural stamina to fly for weeks on end. He had actually volunteered for the role come to think of it. It makes it worth while for him as he came from the Viridian Labyrinth so he often just loves to fly by to smell the roses. He sometimes wonders if he is homesick or not. Either way he still likes it here.
While he may be widely known for one to be telling some of the rudest stories ever, he absolutely loves his family. He could quickly switch from "bawdy raconteur" to "sweet dad that spoils his kids". In his days off he's the one who tends to the flower gardens with his daughter, Demeter. He's truly a huge softy when it comes to gardening. More often than not, also the source of where random hatchlings come from because for some strange reason all random babies are found in the flower gardens. And of course with the combined forces of Ceto and he the babies are kept. No matter what he does you can't really stay mad at him for long anyway. He never intends to hurt anyone and he does this pouty thing with his face that has no defense against it. It only fuels everyone's mumbled loving loathing of him.
As the clan moved to the Mirrorlight Promenade, Askalavhos, had asked to come along on he and Sanguinaria's outings when they traveled for supplies. He was happy to agree and glad she had begun to talk to others more. To be honest, he is thankful for her assistance as he has had past encounters of bandits. A reason why it is wise to travel with other Imperials and in numbers. Only fools would risk such a disaster and a nasty confrontation with a Wildclaw who is fiercely loyal.

Shama
Gaurumik's trusted companion is Shama the Tigerblood. Their friendship has blossomed gradually over time since long ago. Of the long days Gauru would spend in the gardens, the Foo was there among the flora keeping watch of how the Imperial would peacefully nurture his marigolds. When Gauru was out, it was Shama who kept small trinkets to return to him when he'd forget them in the flowerbeds. Shama even has a particular fondness over his children than others. To this day, he stands watch over Demeter when the particularly long flight kept him from coming home as planned. Eventually Shama began to accompany Gaurumik on his travels, riding on his back. He kept guard of the wares he traded and sold when they set up shop or unloaded. One too many times he came to aid the small caravan group when bandits thought they'd have easy pickings. |
