Biography

earth_rose_by_dogi_crimson-darmgwz.png

Thraeki was never called by the Earthshaker. No, she came to visit the keep in the Shadow of the Pillar to do one thing: Buying and selling minerals, gems, antiquities, and anything else pulled from the earth. She had made an easy living, traveling back and forth from her homeland, caravaning her wares across the known world.

The best laid plans, so they so, will often go awry.

In the vast potted garden in front of the keep, Thraeki could see a Fae fluttering around, agitated, following a slow-trodding Bogsneak from planter to planter.

"What do you mean eaten?" The fae asked. The bogsneak shrugged.

"What Atium said. Ate the ones we didn't need."

"Didn't need?" The fae was gobsmacked. She landed on one of the clay urns, and appeared to gather her wits. "In the future, please refer to the rest of the clan before culling seedlings. It's difficult to feed ourselves this time of year as it is, we could have found someplace to replant them."

"Hmf." The bogsneak tossed her head, clearly not moved in any way. She continued on down the row, tending here and there to the plants. Thraeki lumbered towards the defeated looking fae.

"I imagine you heard all of that." The fae said once Thraeki's shadow had enveloped her. Thraeki laughed.

"I understand her hunger, myself. If it's food you need, I keep plenty in my caravan... I'm always happy to trade for goods if gold is at a premium" She offered. The fae animated a little at the mention of food.

"There isn't a caravan that comes this far into the plateau."

"Not yet, at least."

"My name is Brightmyrtle. Why don't you come inside for a glass of wine?"
