Biography
Kefrem is more self aware than his father, Kochab.
He knows that the matriarchy is stable enough that there isn't really any place for an heir. He knows that as the son of a son, he wouldn't even have a chance at running the clan.
He knows that he wouldn't even want to. Managing an ever growing lair, keeping track of food supplies, nests all over the place, and a dizzying rotation of young dragons learning to fight and then leaving to follow Glademomma... so much work!
And furthermore, he knows that having the same primary as his mother Kyrith AND eye spots (her favourite!) means he is always going to be her (secretly favourite) little baby, and that suits him just fine.
Kefrem spends his days at his mother's side, assisting her with the clan's daily needs but always in a secondary role. He will fight, and forage, and play dress up for auntie Sorella. He cares for hatchlings and counts food, but always with help just a call away.
He hopes that he will find his Charge within this clan, the only home he has ever known, because it would shatter his entire life if he had to leave on The Search.
