Shelleyi

Shelleyi was born to fly. With double-feathered wings and an adornment of bird’s skull and feather trappings, she holds a great appreciation for the freedom she’s allotted when whisking the clouds. Her fascination for everything airborne led to her passion for ornithology. Even her private lair—uniquely open to the sky above—is filled with birds, so that she may be surrounded by her aerial friends as she sleeps.

With all the grace of a natural-born leader, you’d think Shelleyi would pick a more…proper mate than Eburnea. Not so—she loves him very much. Both spend an enormous amount of time in the air, and both share a majesty in flight that frequently amazes their Clanmates. Like synchronized swimmers, they move through the air in unison, as if with a shared mind.

When she’s not studying birds or flying for pleasure, Shelleyi is the known flight teacher. Older hatchlings come to her to learn the secret of the air while younger hatchlings look on with envy. Not all of the mothers and fathers like this little operation, but Shelleyi, with endless curiosity and glee for flight, has made a sort of experiment out of teacher her charges.
