She used to peer into shards of smooth ice to catch glimpses of far away lands- now she spends hours staring into the colours of swirling oil, whispering hushed words under her breath.

She seems to have a hard time seeing those who have not themselves braved the tar and been ritually submerged. But those that have... There may be nowhere that they can hide from her gaze. She watches over the many children of the Mires, crooning as she attempts to divine glimpses of their lives.

Her skin ripples, reflections of strange faces glinting across her scales. Departed members of the Clan are not all she sees.
