(Ophiostoma novo-ulmi/Scolytus scolytus)

Scolytus was not directly influenced by The Mycelium like the other dragons.
Instead, she is a vector for it, carrying microscopic spores with her wherever she goes. Her favourite food is the bark of Elm trees, and her small size means she can gnaw and burrow her way through to the tastiest bits in the middle of the tree, spreading the dangerous spores she carries with every nibble...

Unfortunately, surviving elm trees are becoming rather rare in The Forest, and managing the dead ones has become a full time job for Cypress.

Thankfully (or not), no one has realised the culprit is Scolytus - not even Scolytus herself!
