He/him

Shayla is a fungi enthusiast, skilled forager, and potionmaker. He collects most of the fungi that the clan eats, as he is the best at identifying edible ones, and many also come to him for potions- simple remedies for smaller ailments, mostly. He is well trusted, as he knows exactly how to mix the potions to the perfect ratio to be effective.
Shayla lives together with his boyfriend Zinnasaadi, who is somewhat less adept with potionmaking and fungus identification but is quite supportive. He also has an Ink Ant familiar- it is a worker ant who he was able to gain the trust of by assisting it in its mission to clear harmful fungi from around its colony. It leads him to fungi in return for sugary snacks.
