Main Theme:NOISE Battles The Angel And Regrets It

______ Elda puts up with a lot of things, her grumpy partner Richter being only one of those many things. Elda helps with keeping logs of all the happenings going on in the Clan, and since she has much better writing than Richter, she tends to scribble down anything needing to be written down. She is very knowledgeable in what happens around the Clan, down to which dragons get along, which don't, and even why dragons who don't get long dislike each other.

______ Since she's probably the most knowledgeable dragon in the Clan in terms of goings-on, it would be no surprise to say she knows exactly why the Imperial, Ren, and the Nocturne, Nobunaga, got into their now infamous brawl. She keeps herself silenced when asked about the matter though, as it would do no good to have such knowledge floating around the Clan freely. Besides, Elda is much more concerned with the fact she had to write down every little detail of the fight for the Clan Archives.

______ Elda is a gifted dragon when it comes to getting along with others in her home clan. Some of her closer friends are the Mirror, Iket, and her partner, Rei, along with the Clan Leaders. The small Scholar has even been making attempts to get to know Ren better, but has so far only gotten as far as getting a very reluctant, "Hello," from the temperamental Imperial.

______ However, despite being able to get along with many dragons, Elda is an absolute brute. She isn't gentle with strangers by any means, and many newcomers to the clan often leave the Archives with fresh claw marks from where Elda grabbed them by their faces. She is quick to anger, and her temper has on many occasions been compared to that of a demon. Elda will not hesitate to threaten or even attack outsiders, often as a means of protecting those she is close to. As far as Elda is concerned, all outsiders are the enemy until proven otherwise.

______ Elda's disdain for outsiders started when she was still quite young. As a hatchling, she had witnessed countless raids conducted on Umbral Rex by larger and older clans. The fledgling clan simply couldn't build up its defenses well enough or fast enough to repel intruders. As the chaos continued into her adult life, Elda became increasingly bitter and distrustful of unfamiliar faces. It was unsurprising when she adopted her "All outsiders are enemies until proven otherwise" mentality. If confronted with a dragon from an outside clan, her immediate impulse is to flat-out attack them and drive them out, or preferably kill them outright. Elda simply hasn't killed off visitors because Richter is around to calm her down and direct her attention away from the visitors.

______ Since Elda and Richter are the only Scholars of the Clan, Elda often recruits Soot and Jade to assist with archiving scrolls, and Elda often requests that the Clan merchant, Megalodon, get more writing materials every couple weeks. The big Imperial has yet to fail with delivering the needed materials in a timely fashion, and Elda is quite grateful for it.
