ABOUT.
Prometheus has seen more than enough violence to last him a lifetime.

The scars he hides under his surgestream coat speak of a cruel, painful past, one that he cannot bear to talk about to this day. Not even to his closest friends, not even to his mate. One does not steal things not made for mortals’ hands and expect to walk away unscathed.

Now, he lives out his days in a quiet backwater of a Plague clan, tinkering away with his inventions and repairing the odd device in the laboratories. Proioxis, his mate, works at the post office and both were introduced to the other when Prometheus helped her fix the clan’s mail distributing system. Proioxis had eyes like shining peridot--not draconian, he’d noticed immediately--and the two quickly bonded.

Even now, even after all they’ve been through and all they have shared, there is still one more secret both will have to discover about the other.

Old pantheons of gods and goddesses walked the earth long before the elemental deities did.

A secret like this will never stay buried.
