╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ Tempest Wind/Water Manipulator Hurricane Creator ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Tempest wields the forces of wind and water with incredible skill. She can summon anything from a gentle breeze to a fierce gale, and she commands water to flow, rise, or crash at her will. When she combines these powers, she can create powerful hurricanes—an awe-inspiring but dangerous force she’s learned to control with care. Her glowing green eyes reveal the depth of her elemental connection, so she often wears a blindfold to keep her powers in check. Tempest's mastery over wind and water allows her to bring both calm and storm to Sylvan’s Keep, making her a natural protector of the grove. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Tempest is both a quiet force and a comforting presence among the dragons of Sylvan’s Keep. With her calm demeanor and gentle wisdom, she’s often sought after for guidance, even by the more mischievous dragons like Gingersnap and Basil. The two young, hyperactive dragons love testing her patience, darting around her and peppering her with endless questions about her powers. Tempest handles them with grace, often humorously conjuring small rain showers to cool them down or whirlwinds to catch their attention. Though she tries to be serious with them, her affection for their energy is unmistakable.
With Red, the witch dragon of Sylvan’s Keep, Tempest shares a unique bond. Red respects Tempest’s quiet strength and appreciates her deep connection to the elements. The two sometimes exchange magical tips, and Red occasionally brings her rare herbs or flowers in exchange for fresh, misty rain for her plants. Their friendship is marked by mutual respect and an understanding of nature’s wild beauty. She has a soft spot for Otter, who, like her, had arrived on the winds of a storm—granted hers was self-made... Seeing his love for climbing trees and exploring coves, she crafted a small hood with wrappings for his head, arms, and tail, secured with a belt to protect him from scratches and bruises. It was her way of helping him on his adventures, a silent bond between two dragons brought to Sylvan’s Keep by the winds. And, Blythe, the dragon with her affinity for mushrooms and bees, often seeks Tempest's help to summon light rain showers to nourish the forest. The two share a peaceful friendship, grounded in their love for Sylvan’s Keep and their roles as guardians of its natural beauty. |
Once upon a time, in a realm where magic danced in the air like autumn leaves, a dragon named Tempest was born on Halloween night. The moon hung low and full, casting an ethereal glow over the world, and from the moment she hatched, she felt an undeniable connection to the magic around her. Her scales shimmered like dark obsidian, and her eyes sparkled with a vibrant green light that pulsed with primal energy, hinting at the extraordinary powers she was destined to discover. As Tempest grew, she reveled in her unique abilities. She was drawn to the winds that swept through the valleys and mountains, feeling their whispers in her bones. One day, while playing near the edge of a cliff, she closed her eyes and felt the rush of air swirling around her. With a flick of her tail and a deep breath, she commanded the wind, creating a gentle breeze that danced through her wings. The exhilarating sensation filled her with joy, and she soon learned that she could summon stronger winds, her eyes glowing brighter with each gust. Excited by her newfound talent, Tempest dedicated herself to mastering the wind. However, her curiosity pushed her further, It wasn’t long before she discovered another power within herself: while exploring the serene shores of a shimmering lake, Tempest felt an irresistible pull toward the water. As she playfully splashed in its depths, she instinctively focused on the lake, envisioning the water swirling around her. To her astonishment, the liquid responded to her thoughts, rising and dancing in the air. Elated by this newfound ability, she pushed her powers further, creating gentle waves and arcs of water. However, when her excitement caused a towering wave to surge uncontrollably, she quickly learned to balance her powers, realizing that her connection to water was just as profound as her command over wind. This revelation marked the beginning of her journey as a master of both elements, deepening her bond with the magical world around her. One fateful day, while soaring high above the glimmering sea, Tempest focused intently on the currents of air around her. With a powerful roar, she unleashed a tremendous whirlwind that spiraled around her, but as she concentrated, the storm grew uncontrollably fierce. It transformed into a hurricane, swirling with ferocity, and in an instant, Tempest was caught in its powerful embrace. The hurricane swept her away, tossing her through the skies until she landed unceremoniously in a place she had never seen before. After being unconscious for a couple minutes, Tempest woke up. Disoriented and slightly shaken, she looked around. The dragons of Sylvan’s Keep, initially startled, soon gathered around her, their eyes wide with wonder. They had never seen such a display of raw power, and though she felt embarrassed, Tempest also felt an overwhelming sense of belonging. As she settled into Sylvan’s Keep, she quickly made friends with the other dragons who were fascinated by her incredible power. Tempest felt a sense of belonging among them, yet she struggled to control her abilities. The winds and water were temperamental and often whipped up around her whenever her emotions swelled, causing accidental chaos in her new home. However, with her growing abilities, she came to the realization that she needed to exercise caution. During one particularly emotional day, her control slipped, and she created a small hurricane that sent ripples through the keep, startling her friends. The sight of her chaotic storm made Tempest acutely aware of the potential destruction her powers could unleash. To prevent further incidents, she sought counsel from the elder dragons, who advised her to craft a blindfold from enchanted fabric, which would help her focus and temper her powers. Red crafted a blindfold from silk that would help dampen Tempest's intense focus, allowing her to control her abilities with greater precision. Wearing the blindfold became a part of Tempest’s identity, allowing her to engage with the world without the overwhelming intensity of her abilities. With time and practice, she learned to harness both the wind and water together, creating serene storms that brought life and nourishment to the land, rather than chaos. She became a guardian of Sylvan’s Keep, using her gifts to protect her friends and nurture the beauty around her. Tempests’s journey was one of self-discovery, balance, and acceptance. Born on a night of magic, she embraced her uniqueness and transformed her once-chaotic powers into a force for good. With her glowing green eyes hidden behind her blindfold, she continued to weave her magic in harmony with the keep. |
