With her calm demeanor and gentle wisdom, she’s often sought after for guidance, even by the more mischievous dragons like Gingersnap and Basil. The two young, hyperactive dragons love testing her patience, darting around her and peppering her with endless questions about her powers. Tempest handles them with grace, often humorously conjuring small rain showers to cool them down or whirlwinds to catch their attention. Though she tries to be serious with them, her affection for their energy is unmistakable.
With Red, the witch dragon of Sylvan’s Keep, Tempest shares a unique bond. Red respects Tempest’s quiet strength and appreciates her deep connection to the elements. The two sometimes exchange magical tips, and Red occasionally brings her rare herbs or flowers in exchange for fresh, misty rain for her plants. Their friendship is marked by mutual respect and an understanding of nature’s wild beauty. She has a soft spot for Otter, who, like her, had arrived on the winds of a storm—granted hers was self-made... Seeing his love for climbing trees and exploring coves, she crafted a small hood with wrappings for his head, arms, and tail, secured with a belt to protect him from scratches and bruises. It was her way of helping him on his adventures, a silent bond between two dragons brought to Sylvan’s Keep by the winds. And, Blythe, the dragon with her affinity for mushrooms and bees, often seeks Tempest's help to summon light rain showers to nourish the forest. Once upon a time, in a realm where magic danced in the air like autumn leaves, a dragon named Tempest was born on Halloween night. The moon hung low and full, casting an ethereal glow over the world, and from the moment she hatched, she felt an undeniable connection to the magic around her. Her scales shimmered like dark obsidian, and her eyes sparkled with a vibrant green light that pulsed with primal energy, hinting at the extraordinary powers she was destined to discover. As Tempest grew, she reveled in her unique abilities. She was drawn to the winds that swept through the valleys and mountains, feeling their whispers in her bones. One day, while playing near the edge of a cliff, she closed her eyes and felt the rush of air swirling around her. With a flick of her tail and a deep breath, she commanded the wind, creating a gentle breeze that danced through her wings. The exhilarating sensation filled her with joy, and she soon learned that she could summon stronger winds, her eyes glowing brighter with each gust. It transformed into a hurricane, swirling with ferocity, and in an instant, Tempest was caught in its powerful embrace. The hurricane swept her away, tossing her through the skies until she landed unceremoniously in a place she had never seen before. After being unconscious for a couple minutes, Tempest woke up. Disoriented and slightly shaken, she looked around. The dragons of Sylvan’s Keep, initially startled, soon gathered around her, their eyes wide with wonder. They had never seen such a display of raw power, and though she felt embarrassed, Tempest also felt an overwhelming sense of belonging. As she settled into Sylvan’s Keep, she quickly made friends with the other dragons who were fascinated by her incredible power. Tempest felt a sense of belonging among them, yet she struggled to control her abilities. The winds and water were temperamental and often whipped up around her whenever her emotions swelled, causing accidental chaos in her new home. However, with her growing abilities, she came to the realization that she needed to exercise caution. During one particularly emotional day, her control slipped, and she created a small hurricane that sent ripples through the keep, startling her friends.
