smvTctj.png Canon lore (not FR lore): In her past life, Kuu was a fortune teller. The wolves of Lunen considered her a charlatan, when her power was real, although they predicted minor things, such as what the weather will be. But over time, Kuu learned of wolves with her power whose could amplified under a full moon, if they howled at it. These wolves were called The Moonhowl Propheat. Kuu considered it a little strange, but she decided to give a try. The next time Kuu noticed a full moon, she would leave her lair to the place where it was fully visible, and began howling at it. Kuu felt something different, as if The Moonhowl Propheat gave her more knowledge. She now foretold what could happen to anyone--her, other wolves, the lynx--anyone.

Kuu kept doing this ritual monthly, and once after she foretold a danger would be coming to the Lunen. She didn't know what the danger was, specifically, but she knew it was coming. When she told the chief, however, he didn't believe her. Even still, no one did. They all thought she was faking it for attention.
But she wasn't.
When the attack came, only she was prepared. Alas, one wolf alone can't fight an army of Aesis soldiers. Kuu was soon dead, and the attack spread across the small region. Only a few wolves were left alive, including the chief. They realized Kuu was telling the truth, and it was their fault for not listening. As a way of apologizing, they set out all the things Kuu owned under the moon, what she was named after. The moon took pity on Kuu, and it made her the goddess of the moon, looking over Lunen from the heavens.
