Princess Lysa Long time ago in a place far, far away, there lived a prince and a princess. They had married young and loved each other greatly. Everything was peaceful in their castle of marble corridors and coloured glass windows, where they often had great feasts with all the people around them. Their people loved them and respected them, no one had a worry in the world. And then came the day when their first child was born. It was a girl, the most beautiful thing her parents had ever seen, everyone was amazed by her. She was given the name Lysa. Lysa was always happy, smiling and chattering to her parents, who often took her to the gardens to watch birds play in the bird pool. Lysa was always curious about new things, she loved to explore and she spent a lot of time with all kind of animals living in the garden, but she never strayed too far from her parents or the castle. |
But like all good things, happiness was bound to come to an end, too. There came a night, when everything seemed peaceful. Birds quietly singing outside, warm summer breeze blowing in the trees. But it was that night that the prince and the princess heard noises from Lysa's room, like glass shattering. And when they went to see it, Lysa was nowhere to be seen. The window was broken and the only thing they could find was a brown feather on her pillow. And no one has seen Princess Lysa since. Sayl There are rumours of a great eagle that flies around the cemetery during warm summer evenings. The rumours say that the bird resides in the tower of the old church. Some say it can't be a bird, no one has ever seen birds grow that big. And others say it's not a bird at all, but a human with wings. But no one has ever dared to look too closely. They are just rumours after all. |
