Hyperspeed is a thing. Blurr found it out the hard way as a hatchling, and he has not slowed down since. It is rare that any dragon is born with the ability to move faster than the eye can follow, and even rarer that the ability doesn't shake said dragon to pieces before adulthood. Blurr is an exception, due in no small part to his own augments, originally designed to help make him faster, but now used for more practical purposes. Namely, keeping his perfectly-functional body as functional as it is. He's already fast enough! As a Spiral, he was already predisposed to flightiness, but his speed has turned that flightiness into truly something to behold. Or...not behold. As typically, when Blurr goes off on a tangent, he himself is just suddenly gone, only the echoes of his voice remaining where he once stood.

Thankfully, he has Focus to keep him...well...focused, otherwise he would be nothing but a ball of knots every day all day.

As things stand, he is not only the fastest member of the Wordsingers, but the head of their battle training program, kept in line himself by his mate when he gets going a bit too fast for anyone to follow (or understand) him. If Focus isn't around, the more level-headed Caminus, Blurr's second, can usually stand on his tail long enough to get things calmed down again.
