Hand of Queen Shadedancer

Icefang is no stranger to the cold. She was born in a snowy land and traveled cold forests who's only warmth were the stars above. She'd traveled many places and had seen many faces in her youth. All along the way she's make little homes from ice, much warmer than it sounds. When she arrived at the small lair of Backwater, she did not expect the reaction she would get. The waters and cave were warm, but many dragons there were icy and harsh. Of course when she first arrived the lair greeted her with love and welcoming, but when it become apparent the queen's interest in her and Icefang's skills, dragons began to feel indifferent to her. Not everyone, but those closest to the king would often gaze at her with eyes colder than the Icewarden.

She never sought to be the queen's hand - in fact where she arrived in the small lair of Backwater she did not even know they had a king or queen. Unknown to her, the only reason she become such a young hand was because Queen Shadedancer found pleasure in Icefang's magick abilities. She isn't the best when it comes to ice magicks, but she could hold her own in battle.

There weren't many other magick dragons in the small lair. The king was never one for magick and had forbidden commoners from practicing it. For those who did possess the gift, the queen took charge of. The queen had befriended every magick-using dragon in the lair. That's not anything to celebrate, since there are so few. The queen had healer friends and necromancer friends. She knew a few water mages.

Never did the queen see an ice sorceress. Shadedancer took much delight and pleasure in Icefang. Icefang could mend ice and form ice just as the queen could mend and form bone. Icefang was joyous in her noble position. She knew she would no longer be traveling, but she did not mind.
