Biography

The skies above were clear, the usual volcanic cloud that blotted out the sun blown away by the unusually strong winds of the afternoon. With a devilish grin, befitting of the noble young dragon, she spread her wings. Jumping from her perch upon the rocks she flapped them furiously, gaining a small amount of lift as the winds carried her aloft. Looking more like a humming bird than a dragon, for a few marvelous moments she was flying. And then the gusts changed direction, and the inexperienced wyrmling crashed to the earth. With a hiss she righted herself, shaking free the soot and ash that found their way into her still soft scales.
Running back to her perch, she crouched and waiting for another breeze to happen by. With a shout she called her fellow wyrmlings, and to her delight she saw Carbry and Mistralton come dashing out to see what the ruckus was about. "Come on! The next breeze will be a good one!" She shouted excitedly, crouching down and spreading her wings, just waiting for that next breeze to carry her away.

A rare and exotic breed, this young Imperial has been welcomed into Minala's clan. She was taken as a small wyrmling, barely a few days old, form her nest. Minala spirited her away, raising her and teaching her that she was to be taught the ways of magic from her nest-mate, Jarvis. From there, the Fae dragon has cared for the youngling, teaching her all he knows of magic.
However, while Auralise is a good student and indeed a wonderful addition to the clan, she does not desire the life of a mage. Rather, she'd prefer to escape the confines of her expectations and explore their wide world- learning the worlds mysteries and magics on her own, through her own experiences. She's been trying to coax Mistralton, her brother and friend, into coming along with her as well. (She already knows Carbry will accompany her, as he was the one who planted the idea in her head to begin with.)
