@luckyvulpi Not sure if I'm doing this right, but this event looks super fun anyway! :D

Dragon bio: Mirienli is a somewhat curious creature who likes to dabble with all things arcane. Because of this she is well organized, as accidents while working with magic might turn out to be rather disastrous. Her magical experiments have given her some insight on how to properly plan things ahead, and most of the time her plans do work out just fine.

NPC: Zath
Group Question: B
Fate works in mysterious ways, and Mirienli wouldn't be one to fight against it. Doing so might quicken the day of her passing, and the time she would have left is much better used on completing her studies of the arcane and helping everyone to the best of her abilities. True friends would mourn whether or not one distances themselves from them, and as such Miri doesn't see that as an option either. Better make sure their last memories of her are joyful ones.

Day: 2
Flight: Arcane
Group: Entrepreneur
NPC: Zath
Group Question: 1. Imagine that you are a seer. You love another dragon, but you saw a vision that the relationship eventually won't last. What do you do?
C.
Mirienli blinks her eyes before answering. Though she speaks in monotone, as is common for her species, she seems rather determined.
"I know, I know... I am going against what I said yesterday about 'how one should not fight one's destiny'... However, what is there to lose if one tries to find out why exactly the relationship wouldn't last? Doing so should not overrule being able to be happy, and if preventing the foreseen breakup won't work, at least you can't be blamed for not trying."
She pauses, letting her words sink, before she continues. "I, at least, would definitely fight for everything I hold dear. Including the person I love."
2. Do you think all the flights can work together some day?
The fae flares her neck crest, and it seems she is slightly annoyed. "Of course they can! My clan has several dragons who were born in different flights, and I knows for a fact that the leaders of my clan are working together with clan leaders from other flights, sharing both knowledge and resources. Forming alliances like these is vital to maintaining a healthy basis for a clan's growth."
She pauses for a moment. Her annoyance seems to have faded as she continues. "If such 'out-of-Flight' alliances can help a clan thrive, why wouldn't whole flights allied together also be able to grow stronger? Not to mention that if you help someone in their time of need, it is more likely that you will also receive help when things are looking grim."
Optional work:
Mirienli blinks once. She seems rather pleased with herself as she answers: "The Scrying Workshop."

NPC interaction
Day: 4
Flight: Arcane
Group: Entrepreneur
NPC: Zath
Group Question: Activity 2: Finding the motive.
Mirienli, fairly convinced that Zath is not the murderer, went over everything that happened during the previous days. She remembered that on day 2 Lednu had given out some numbers, since she had no idea how business stuff works. Something was off with those numbers though... Why would Lednu hand out random numbers? There had to be some meaning to those numbers... Why had everyone just passed them by?
She wrote down the numbers on a space sheet of paper:
14,15,20,8,9,14,7 23,15,18,11,19 15,21,20. 4,15,14,20 20,18,21,19,20 8,5,18.
Then she realized, it was a cipher! Of course! "Letter numbers" it is often called, where each letter is replaced by a number. Mirienli quickly grabbed pen and paper, and came to this result:
NOTHING WORKS OUT. DONT TRUST HER.
This... This meant that Lednu must have seen what would happen! She had tried to warn everyone, but no one had noticed!
But this also meant that Zath could not be the killer. "Don't trust her", Lednu had said. Don't trust who?
Gearth, Niquo and Vulpes would obviously also be out of question as possible suspects. It had to be one of the females. Vuples' would be doubly out of suspicions if Lednu's backward messages are to be taken into account. "Ignore the fox" was one of them, and vulpes means fox. Gearth also is doubly out of suspicions, because there was a witness.
As implied before, if Zath's statue was indeed the murder weapon, it would require a rather strong dragon to actually wield it as a weapon.
Rae and Niquo were together at the time of the murder, and if the decrypted message is applied, it seems a little bit unlikely that Rae would be the culprit, since that would make Niquo an assistant in the murder, but he cannot be one if the hidden message is to be believed.
If Kaira and Vulpes were meeting the same dragon, and if the same rule applied for Rae and Niquo is applied here too, then Kaira cannot be the culprit either.
This leaves only Heather and Lox... But which one could possibly have a motive?
Heather's wish is stated to be visiting other flights, so it seems unlikely that she would cause something that could cause dispute between flights. Lednu's dream was that the flights could all work together some day, so why would someone who wishes to visit other flights work against this dream? It is also unlikely that Heather would have been able to move the statue.
This whole process of elimination leaves only Lox as a possible suspect, but what motive could she have had? She and Heather are the only ones without an alibi, and unfortunately right now everything is pointing at Lox.
But is Lox to blame after all? Why would she be willing to tell everyone what she was up to if her riddle is simply answered? Also, Heather is a fae, and fae are known to be good with their magic. Perhaps Heather used the statue to kill Lednu by moving it with magic.
And there is still Lednu's decrypted message. "Nothing works out. Don't trust her." Could it be that Heather is to blame after all? If she is not to be trusted, then her "asking for help" could be a trap.
Further digging is in order. Could there be anything that would make Heather want to get rid of Zath?
Looking into Heather's backstory, there is something suspicious that stands out... Vulpes is Heather's uncle, and very little is said about his real sister, Heather's mother, and it is implied that she is dead. And then there's this: "It's too painful to think about him..." Him? Who is this "he" Heather is referring to?
It is also interesting how, when looked at the picture of dragons in Heather's backstory, some dragons seem to be missing, Zath included. Had he not joined Water Inc. yet? Could it be that Heather believes Zath had something to do with her mother's death?
After much consideration, speculation and a thorough process of elimination in possible suspects, Mirienli has come to the following conclusion: the blame falls on Heather, or at the very least, she is hiding something possibly vital in solving this mystery.

Maybe I'm over-analyzing things... Or maybe not. Who knows....... What I do know, however, is that this is one mighty wall of text... Oops? xD

Alright, pasted in Day 4... Now you can see what the NPCs said that day
Also going to list a few details that some of you may have missed that may or may not be important
-Gearth and Rae are both Guardians, meaning they both probably have a charge.
-Zath is the one who came up with Water Inc.'s current business plan
-Water Inc's original purpose wasn't to start a business... It was something else
-There is never any mention of there being other Water Inc. members besides the 9 NPCs except for Steve... the Guardian
Also here is the list of alibis the NPCs said before for comparison.
Gearth has a witness who was with him the entire night. It was a Guardian named Steve who Gearth forced to stay with him. So what he said is true.

Quote:
I spent all night polishing the secret chest. The other guardians were suppose to show up and help me, but none of them did. |
I was... I had something to do with Niquo. What it was isn't important |
What me and Rae did isn't important... Besides shouldn't you be asking someone who actually had a motive? |
Last night Lednu was busy getting killed |
Last night we were suppose to meet up and talk to Fire Flight about a potential colaberation... But Lednu didn't show up so I just waited for a while. I don't know why my claw marks are on there, but it wasn't me. |
I was busy meeting someone... Don't ask anymore |
I was meeting the same dragon Vulpes was meeting. So there you go |
What I did last night isn't important. Mind your own buisiness. |
I spent all night trying to fly... I don't really have any proof, but I really did try I didn't do it though. Why would I be asking for your help if I did? |
