okay what's her lore
- somewhere between he/him lesbian and "idk i just work here" cis by way of gender
- attempted the trials as a part of her search; she didn't know for sure at the time what the search was leading her toward, just that the trials were an important step toward finding her charge
- she refused to acknowledge just how poorly her trial of infection was going right up until chrysaor stepped in and helped her. not that she could've done much by herself anyway, but she wouldn't have asked for any help on her own
- not out of any pious "only the fittest survive" idea, but the conviction that she would only find her charge if she passed the trials
- ever since she rose as a wraith, she's felt no more leads on her search. but she also knows that she has not found her charge. chrysaor is not her charge, nor is anyone or anything else she's encountered so far while serving her necromancer
- she pretends that chrysaor is her charge, because it's the most convenient option and one that very few would question. she's mostly given up and resigned herself to being chargeless, to faking it for the rest of her life, burdened with the double failure.
- there's a lot of resentment there toward chrysaor. she preferred death as the failstate over becoming a chargeless wraith. and to compound that, now she has to pretend ey's her charge and trail after the one who prevented her from at least dying with dignity.
