She and her sister were born to a rabid mirror pack that roams all over Sornieth. They were always very close and were never out of each other’s sights. Sometime during their travels for new hunting grounds, her sister became lost and the group went on without her. When Ashes was strong enough, she left the pack to search for her sister. She soon came to realize she’d need the help of other dragons, With a lot of effort, and some luck, she began to slowly integrate herself into their society. While she has kept her temper and natural aggression in check, she regularly misses social cues, declares things ‘pointless’, and lacks knowledge about the world. Sometimes this causes moments to be humorous, though of course she wouldn't understand it that way.

After having been on the search for several weeks straight, with little food and less sleep, Ashes was soon found by the scouting patrol, starving and near unconsciousness. Quickly brought in, it was determined that what she mostly needed was a warm place to rest, and quite a bit of food. As it was, this was near the time after Celegans had contracted her gembond, and unfortunately for Ashes' continually healthy skin, Cel was contagious and Ashes was in the infirmary. It was quickly determined that she was infected also, and that patients in the infirmary should be kept farther away from each other.

Fortunately, Ashes' case has stopped growing over her skin, only growing painlessly outwards, something easy to keep in check with a bit of filing.

Aggressive, easily frustrated, ‘uncultured’, blunt and very literal, ‘rough around the edges’, suspicious of others, has ‘simple needs’, superiority complex (‘these twerps wouldn’t stand five minutes in the real wild’), doesn’t understand humor, rarely shows emotion other than anger/frustration, reactions can be a bit of a wildcard as things she hasn’t encountered can spook her, don’t surprise her unless you want claws in your face.
Patrolling the territory. She's also fascinated by the snow, and enjoys playing in it.

A place that will help her find her sister and one where that will understand that she didn’t grow up in the circumstances that most dragons do.
