When a vast storm swept across the Shattered Plain, there was but a single thing lying within the barren expanse, crawling from the cracks within the dirt was a Sandsurge. Still a hatchling, his faceted eyes reflected the waters of every maelstrom within the sea, lightning that surged from every pore of his body identical to every strike within the Shifting Expanse, scales cracked like the earth he'd been born from, like a desert after a decade without rain. A young dragon awoken from the depths by the harshness of nature, and forever bearing every mark of it.
There are rumors that his appearance from the Earth itself may be a bad omen, or that the hatchling may have control over the myriad of things he mirrors. But who knows? Those are just rumors, right?
