Bio notes: A minor Ice spirit blessed by the Icewarden himself. As a hatchling, his parents offered him to their deity in gratitude for a past favour. The Icewarden saw the little Imperial's potential and decided to grant him nigh-godly powers. With enhanced control over ice and snow, complete resistance to cold, and divine wings of ice, the newly-reborn dragon, christened Grandeur, was sent on a mission: To spread the word about his master's power and convince clans to move south and serve him.
The silks are cold-resistant, and for some reason he has a ton of them that he just gives away to random freezing dragons. Like, who does that?
