Biography

Coatl's avatar
“The land of dreams is not what it seems.”
Coatl has had a rough background. Being born a full white dragon, his parents had banished him from the nest as a bad omen. As a result, he had grown up an orphan, aimlessly wandering around the rural areas of Hoverview Vale doing odd jobs and just surviving. Without a name, others referred to Coatl by his breed. Coatl’s childhood morphed him into a shy, but also resilient dragon with excellent survival skills. But while Coatl was able to survive on his own relatively easily, he lived a very lonely life, with no parents to bond with, and no one else to talk to.

Upon hearing about the Islets and its reputation as a place where “dreams come true,” Coatl set off to the Islets in the hopes of finding a life that didn't result in being an outsider to any society. But the contrast from rural Hoverview Vale to urban Central was stark- and the fast paced action on the main island soon overwhelmed the young Coatl, who did not understand his own species’ language, yet could also barely speak Draconic.

The chaos of the island eventually grew too much, and Coatl would end up settling somewhere in the Outer Islands where he would eventually encounter Excidium- a similar dragon who also preferred the rural traditions of yore. With Excidium needing someone or something to take care of, and Coatl looking for someone to trust, they fit each other perfectly, taking things slowly while everyone else around them moves at the rapid pace that has come to symbolise the Islets.
