Trained by a warriors guild of Obelisk guardians, if you asked her what mattered most, she'd answer "history" without hesitation. To know where you came from, what conditions created you... What you must learn from. What you must prevent from ever happening again.
Safiyya is a very solemn, and often solitary, Fae. She takes her calling very seriously and hardly allows herself any free time or companionship (with the exception of her beloved, who wormed his way into her heart when she wasn't paying attention), as she views it as a distraction from her job as a Dragonhome guardian and defender of all the clans, dragon and beasts alike, dwelling within.

She seldom leaves Dragonhome, but occasionally, during the lush and peaceful early spring months, she makes the trip to the sea of One Thousand Currents to spend a few days (or weeks) with a certain Imperial dragon. They exchange letters the rest of the year.

Hatched in the Colonnades of Antiquity in Dragonhome. Her parents belonged to a small but enthusiastic archeology guild, and they took great care to foster a similar love of the land in their progeny. Always a smart hatchling, she went from learning merely the history of Dragonhome's formation to learning of its occupants, of flight conflicts, territory disputes, the erasure of Beastclans and the ongoing ransacking of natural resources and ancient historical artifacts from all over Dragonhome. It was after seeing the destruction of a Longneck village that Safiyya decided to take up arms to defend her people.
