Out of all other Primarchs, Horus was found the first and raised by the Emperor himself. But as he was growing, Horus felt lonely, different from others, longing to find those like himself and like the Emperor.
Leman was the second found, and soon the two Primarchs became friends, feeling a certain kinship in each other that ran deeper than blood-ties. Leman the Wolf King and Horus the Luna Wolf.
But Horus's life became complete only when Sanguinius, the Great Angel, was brought to the family.
There are rumours that sometimes Horus takes shape of a wolf.
