Greth is gorgeous, to say the least.
And he would be lying if he said he didn't know it. Everyone had said it, everyone had admired him, everyone had loved his colours. And of course, like any pampered dragon would do, he basked in the praise as if it was his last ray of sunshine.
But no one knew the hidden side of him.
He was a fighter. And an excellent one at that.
His tail flicked so fast, you'd have thought it wasn't moving. He was so intimidating when he wanted to be, you'd have thought he was a tiger, not a spoilt coatl. His wings were so strong, one sweep could send an enemy flying. Provided it was a reasonable size, of course.
Greth prided himself on his fighting techniques, sharpened and honed by his friend, Peacock. Every night, they would sneak out to the wide, wide expanse of land and fight. Deathly silent.
Every day though, he was just Greth. Greth, the pretty dragon. Greth, the dragon who was vain and stuck up.
Of course, the dragons who called him that usually found their bedding in shreds by the time they came back from hunting. But who suspected innocent, beautiful Greth?
