Vecna strolled through the dark pathways between various tents, occasionally looking back as he feels a set of eyes on him. In a clearing, he stretched his wings out, just about to fly over head to keep a keen eye out for any intruders, Vecna's eyes were drawn to a set of eyes in the shadows under a large spruce tree. Considering how he felt prior to being in the clearing, he assumed that's who was watching him.
Vecna warily went to the tree line where the eyes were seen from the moon light. Upon doing this, Appalachian popped her head out of the shadows, rightfully scaring Vecna. Though after the scare, he looked at her more closely, realising she's just absolutely beautiful. He's not willing to leave her alone now that he's seen her.
"My, what beautiful eyes you have. Do you mind if I stay with you here?" Vecna asked, although a bit cheery for having been scared just moments before.
Appalachian nodded after some thought. She pulled Vecna into the shadows with her, smiling as she did so. He smiled as well, finally realising that the wooded area where they met will now be his new home. His old life will not be remembered as this new life will bring joy for the both of them, considering as they are each other's soulmates.
Little by little, Vecna learns more and more about Appalachian as they stay in the shadows, watching dragons. In turn, he will tell his life given the time and the trust both of them gives each other. Each bits of info from both sides will be taken with great care and love as both sides may have had a troubled lively-hood prior to meeting.
Given this, Vecna always appreciates how gentle Appalachian is with him, and in turn, taken to being so gentle with her. Loving her and giving her what she needs when she needs it, he'll always get it done right.
