Although he was one of the first dragons in the clan, Tranquility used to be fairly unknown and regarded with suspicion because of his withdrawn nature, spending most of his time alone in the forests. However, after the arrival of Avriel who, for some reason, attached himself to the older dragon, Tranquility felt obliged to spend more time within the clan's land where the young and too-adventurous hatchling would be under careful supervision. He was rarely seen without the young hatchling at his tail, and although he acted as if he resented the relentless tailing, he took it upon himself to teach the young dragon. Gradually, grudging wariness from the clan warmed considerably as they observed how he cared for the younger imperial until Tranquility became one of the most well-liked and trusted dragons. And before long, he was widely seen as the second-in-command after Aevitas, and he was often sought out to settle trivial disagreements and minor spats if the clan leader was too busy. His diplomatic skills, a far cry from Aevitas' blunt and oftentimes harsh language, also proved to be useful in soothing ruffled feathers.

However, during Aevitas' recent crippling illness and exhausted with the clan's petty squabbles and ceaselessly irritated by their constant demands to mediate and settle trivial conflicts, Tranquility returned to his habit of hiding away in the forest, proving to be as elusive as morning mist in the afternoon and leaving the irritated dragons to sort out their arguments by themselves. Perceiving this to be one of the underlying causes as to the separation of the clan, Tranquility has been plagued by guilt and uncertainty.

An introverted and quiet dragon, Tranquility cares deeply for many of his clan members, although he greatly prefers his own solitude. He is often sought out to resolve issues, although he has an uncanny knack of disappearing whenever that happens. However, he has been more willing to do so recently, most likely because he sees the separation of the clan partly due to his habit of retreating into the forest instead of maintaining the clan's peace.
