LORE Despite her origins of the Light flight, Shantal finds herself fitting in perfectly amongst the warriors of the Order. Making her home among the bones of the Colossus, Shantal battles alongside them with cunning tactics and logic. Unlike her many brethren, she does not rush headfirst into battle, preferring to observe and react as she deems necessary and never being without a well thought out plan. Her fury may not burn as brightly as those serving under the Plaguebringer, but she is an invaluable asset to the clan. Shantal strongly resonates with the fighter, Liesel. The plague-born Wildclaw has very similar values to hers, and she often finds herself jealous of the relationship between her and her sister, seeing as she has no strong bonds of her own within her family or her new clan. The two of them working together can take down even the strongest of foes with swift and precise strikes. Sometimes Liesel's adoration of her causes a distance between them, and she finds it hard to convince her that she admires her in the same way. Regardless of the strain between Charene and Shantal, the light warrior enjoys the younger's company. Knowing that without the force and strength to put a plan into motion, it will often fail, she appreciates the viewpoint that the sister provides. Even though they are on rocky terms, the two of them always put the battlefield first, and work together extremely well when they choose to listen to each other. WILDCLAW The Wildclaw breed originates from Shrieking Wilds where its population remains abundant. This species has begun to expand into new domains, the most notable of which is The Wandering Contagion. This territory supports the second largest population of Wildclaw dragons, which some consider to be unusual given the homeland of the species. To say that these two regional groups do not get along is an understatement, and most encounters between the two populations trend towards bloodshed.  Wildclaw are a bipedal species of dragon. Their powerful hind legs excel at launching them into the air and enabling them to slash at their prey. The shorter front legs possess dexterous claws and opposable thumbs. Wildclaws display little sexual dimorphism, with both male and females possessing a crown of six horns and a crest of feathers. Females of the species are on-average slightly larger than their male counterparts. |
